Elizabeth Ocean is an artist with a varied background, having worked as both a costume designer and a Massachusetts state criminal prosecutor. Elizabeth’s watercolors of alternative couture, Temporary I.D. Paper Dolls, explore how clothing defines the identities we want others to perceive. Unlike traditional artwork, the dolls are meant to be played with and enjoyed. Along with the various sets of Paper Dolls in the Temporary I.D. line, Elizabeth also creates original watercolors that depict a wide range of subjects. Her artwork may be purchased on-line and at the American Folk Art Museum in Manhattan.
